Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Intern to assist our sales and marketing teams in expanding our market presence. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the agri-input sector while learning from industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team with lead generation and database management
• Help conduct market research on competitor products, pricing, and distribution channels
• Support field staff with organizing farmer meetings, field demos, and product trials
• Participate in telemarketing efforts to qualify inbound leads and set up dealer meetings
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities and intern project progress
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute local promotional campaigns

Required Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Tamil and English
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive, "can-do" attitude
• Basic proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Interest in the agricultural, FMCG, or rural marketing sectors

Preferred Profile

• Students or recent graduates with a passion for sustainable agriculture
• Individuals who enjoy field work and interacting directly with customers/farmers
