Role Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to head the overall marketing function of the organization, with consolidated responsibility over field staff and telemarketing operations, digital lead conversion outcomes, commerce marketing and institutional marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction to field staff and telemarketing teams, aligning their activities with company sales and marketing goals
• Set monthly/quarterly targets for field and telemarketing verticals and evaluate team performance against them
• Review digital lead conversion metrics and work with the digital team to improve funnel efficiency and campaign ROI
• Own commerce marketing strategy – decide product positioning, pricing strategy, and promotional calendar across online sales platforms
• Build and manage institutional marketing – develop tie-ups with government bodies, FPOs, cooperatives, and corporate/bulk institutional buyers
• Design the overall marketing plan and budget covering field, tele, commerce, and institutional channels
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels and teams
• Evaluate marketing spend and channel-wise ROI, reallocating resources for maximum impact
• Represent the marketing function in management meetings, presenting consolidated insights and recommendations
• Build and develop the marketing team's capability through training, goal-setting, and performance reviews

Required Skills

• Strong strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to manage multiple marketing verticals at once
• Proven track record of leading and scaling marketing teams
• Sound understanding of budgeting, ROI analysis, and marketing planning
• Strong stakeholder management skills (internal teams, institutional clients, government bodies)
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English
• Ability to think both strategically and hands-on when required

Preferred Profile

• Background in agri-input, FMCG, or rural marketing at a managerial level
• Experience managing a marketing function spanning multiple channels (field, digital, commerce, institutional) under one role
• Dealer & farmer network is a plus
